In the Public call for participation of local governments in BiH - Support to Marginalized Groups of Women in the Entrepreneurship Development, has applied the 40 municipalities, of which only 9 municipalities (Konjic, Zvornik, Tesanj, Teslic, Visoko, Livno, Kalinovik, Rudo and Prijedor) will participate in this USAID Project.
On September 19, 2016 the Mayor of Konjic municipality, Mr. Emir Bubalo and Director of the Program of Support to Marginalized Groups (USAID / PPMG), Mr. Jasmin Besic, signed a Contract on the allocation of grant funds and thus provided support to marginalized groups of women in the entrepreneurship development.
By creating a Fund from USAID / PPMG and Konjic municipality, is aimed creating of conditions for sustainable entrepreneurship development for marginalized groups of women, through the promotion of self-employment, and their greater and easier involvement in entrepreneurship and job creation.
The total value of entrepreneurship fund is 95,000.00 BAM, of which the USAID / PPMG participate in the amount of 45,000.00 BAM and a minimum participation of Konjic municipality in the amount of 45,000.00 BAM.
The total available amount of the grant will be operational on the beginning of 2017, and the implementation of this project will lead the Economic Development Agency "PRVI KORAK" LLC Konjic.
