USAID Marginalized Populations Support Activity in partnership with nine local government units, provided funds of about 700,000 BAM for "Fund for support to marginalized groups of women".
In the Hotel Bristol, on November 23, 2016 was held a meeting of representatives of local governments and USAID / PPMG team, and the topic of the meeting was the Model od support to business development, that will be applied in the allocation of funds for business development.
Public call for the allocation of funds to support the business development of marginalized groups of women from Rudo, Livno, Kalinovik, Teslic, Prijedor, Konjic, Tesanj, Zvornik and Visoko, should be announced in February next year.
Marginalized Populations Support Activity will support the launch and business development for women victims of violence, women with disabilities, mothers, persons with disabilities, and unemployed young women. Support is directed to marginalized groups of women who are in long-term disadvantage and which, according to various statistics, every day lead to the margins of society.
Each approved business will be provided and mentoring during the first year of action, in all parts of realization.
"Fund for support to marginalized groups of women" is supported by USAID Marginalized Populations Support Activity (USAID / PPMG) and local government units in equal proportions.
